Terms of service — draft for legal review

Accounts and responsibility
A parent or guardian must create and manage the family account, authorize each child's use, review learning materials, and make final grading decisions. Open Leap is a planning and learning tool; it does not provide an accredited curriculum or guarantee educational outcomes.
Trial and payment
New family accounts have a 14-day trial without a payment card. After the trial, a single household subscription costs US$19/month or CA$19/month, depending on the selected checkout currency, plus applicable taxes. Billing continues monthly until canceled in the billing portal. Cancellation ends paid access at the end of the paid period. Existing work remains readable and exportable after access ends.
Included AI
AI lesson drafts, grading suggestions, and answer coaching are included for ordinary family use. AI access may pause when a family's internal provider-cost allowance is reached or when use appears automated or abusive. The allowance is not a count of actions and is not sold as unlimited access. Contact support for a case-by-case paid extension. AI suggestions may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.
Family content
You retain ownership of content you enter. You grant us permission to process it only to provide the service, including processing through the providers described in the privacy notice. Do not upload material you lack the right to use.
Changes and support
We may improve the service and update these terms with notice when changes materially affect families. Contact support with billing, privacy, or access concerns.
Launch review required: The operator must add legal entity details, refund terms, governing law, liability language, and any mandatory local consumer terms before accepting public subscriptions.
